  1. Dark Web Activity
    In 2024, Nordic countries were referenced in 343 Dark Web posts, with Sweden accounting for 41.11% of the activity. Denmark followed at 23.62%, and Norway at 16.91%. The Finance and Insurance industry was the most targeted, representing 15.32% of threats, followed by Information Technology at 11.80% and Retail Trade at 9.68%.
  2. Ransomware Threats
    Ransomware attacks remain a significant concern, with 105 incidents targeting Nordic organizations. Sweden led with 49.52% of attacks, while the Manufacturing industry was disproportionately affected, representing 36.36% of incidents. Other impacted industries include Electrical Equipment Manufacturing (18.18%) and Professional Services (13.64%).
  3. Phishing Attacks
    Nordic enterprises faced 3,494 phishing attacks in 2024. Finland was the most targeted country, accounting for 38.40% of incidents, followed by Sweden at 25.95%. The Information Services industry faced the highest exposure, representing 29.08% of all phishing attacks.
  4. DDoS Activity
    The region experienced 145,613 DDoS attacks in 2024. Sweden recorded the largest multi-vector attack, encompassing 25 vectors with a peak bandwidth of 431.31 Gbps. Norway saw the highest throughput at 45.41 Mpps, emphasizing the scale and sophistication of these attacks.
  5. Stealer Log Risks
    Data from SOCRadar revealed 74,181 email/password combinations, 29,677 password hashes, 13,351 victim IPs, and 6,119 credit card entries linked to stealer malware victims in the region. Denmark led with 28.77% of compromised credentials, followed by Sweden (10.80%) and Finland (10.54%).
