SOCRadar Recognized as DRPS Vendors in Two Gartner Reports

SOCRadar is recognized as a DRPS sample vendor in Gartner’s latest reports on “Competitive Landscape: Digital Risk Protection Services” and “Emerging Technologies and Trends Impact Radar: Security”.

Technology, research, and consulting firm Gartner published two reports on October 12, 2021.

In the report entitled “Emerging Technologies and Trends Impact Radar: Security”, SOCRadar is recognized as a “Digital Risk Protection Services” (DRPS) vendor.

“DRPS Technology Gains Importance”

The report states that the DRPS market consists of technology and service providers (TSPs) that offer enhanced solutions to protect critical digital assets and data exposed to external threats. DRPS provides support in four areas – mapping, monitoring, mitigation, and managing impact on critical digital assets – ensuring business operations are protected.

SOCRadar is recognized in this part of the report because of the unique and advanced solutions it has developed. SOCRadar closely examines the open (surface) web, dark web, and deep web resources for the tactics and processes to identify potential threats to critical assets and identify threat actors and malicious activity as a solution provider.

Gartner concludes that the strong interest in analysis from vendors is expected to drive rapid future adoption of DRPS technology.

Gartner’s another report entitled “Competitive Environment: Digital Risk Protection Services,” published the same day, provides, in summary, assessments of how technology and service providers can better differentiate their DRPS offerings and incorporate threat intelligence and external attack surface management into their product roadmaps.

Answer to the question “How Vendors Should Define Their DRPS Offering for Improved Differentiation,” SOCRadar is referred to as DRPS vendor in the table prepared as an example in the table where the use cases are transferred.
